We’ve all seen the images on the news of the impact war having on the people of Ukraine. While you may want to help directly, it can be hard simply because this is all happening on the other side of the planet.
Many people fleeing war will find their way to Canada to be safe from the conflict and possibly to join family (Canada is home to millions who have roots in the country). When they finally arrive, they will surely feel stressed from having being forced their home and almost of their possessions. Like all of us, they’ll just want to feel normal again.
Imagine the sense of dignity you can give to someone who has lost everything. Your donation of time by providing a complimentary service can not only lift their spirits but help them feel better about themselves both physically and mentally.
