Microneedling Aftercare and Ultrasound Training in Surrey

ByGreg Robins 2026-09-132026-09-13
Dr. Clara Song presents a Microneedling Recovery Lab slide on post-care and ultrasound to a small group of beauty professionals seated around a table.

A three-hour session for skin professionals on what treated skin actually needs once the device is switched off, and where ultrasound fits into a recovery plan.

Participants leave with a clearer way to judge post-treatment products, time the return of active ingredients, and build home care that clients will follow.

Event details

  • What: Microneedling Recovery Lab: Post-Care + Ultrasound for Professionals
  • Presented by: Complete Elixir
  • Date: Monday, September 21, 2026
  • Time: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (three hours)
  • Location: Complete Elixir, Surrey, BC
  • Format: In-person seminar with live demonstrations
  • BeautyCouncil member benefit: Members save $10 on registration
  • Registration: Book through Eventbrite below (log in required)

About the session

Most microneedling training focuses on the treatment itself. This session starts where that training usually stops. The hours and days after a treatment shape how comfortable the skin feels, how quickly it settles, and how a client remembers the experience.

Complete Elixir has built the session around four practical questions: what freshly treated skin needs, which ingredients make sense at that stage, when actives can come back into the routine, and where ultrasound belongs in a treatment protocol. The approach is about timing rather than adding more steps, so participants learn when to stimulate, when to support, and when to leave the skin alone.

What participants will learn

Skin recovery after microneedling

  • What happens to the skin barrier after treatment
  • How to recognize inflammation, sensitivity, dehydration, and temporary barrier disruption
  • Immediate post-procedure skincare priorities
  • Common aftercare mistakes that add unnecessary irritation

Choosing products with more confidence

  • How to evaluate ingredients for recently treated skin
  • Ingredients used for hydration, soothing, and barrier support
  • Why a stronger formula is not always the better choice after an intensive treatment
  • Reading products from a formulation standpoint, including concentration, ingredient combinations, and skin tolerance
  • When and how to reintroduce active skincare

Ultrasound as a treatment tool

  • Basic ultrasound principles and the role of different frequencies
  • Treatment considerations and product compatibility
  • Where ultrasound may fit within a recovery protocol
  • How to think about sequencing treatments

Working with clients

  • Building home-care recommendations clients can realistically follow
  • Approaching skin where acne, sensitivity, pigmentation, dehydration, and aging concerns overlap

Who it is for

The session is an introductory level course, so it suits professionals who already offer microneedling and those weighing whether to add it or ultrasound to their menu. Complete Elixir has designed it for:

  • Estheticians and facialists
  • Medical aesthetic and med spa professionals
  • Acne specialists
  • Skincare clinic owners
  • Other beauty and wellness professionals working with advanced treatments
