Framar is a family-owned Canadian company founded in 1986 by Maria and Frank, initially operating from Frank’s eight-chair salon in Niagara Falls, Canada. The name “Framar” combines their names—Frank and Maria. Maria became the first in Canada to produce foil specifically for hairstylists, laying the foundation for the brand’s growth.

Today, with their sons Giovanni, Francesco, and Roberto actively involved, Framar has evolved into a global business serving passionate stylists in over 190 countries worldwide.
