British Columbians who received a first dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine at a pharmacy will have to register online for their second dose.
In order to receive the second dose, however, the Ministry of Health says people must register online, starting May 1, at https://www.getvaccinated.gov.bc.ca/s/.
“They will then get a notification when they are eligible to book their second dose. It is important to note that people who have received their first dose in pharmacies will need to register in order to get their place in queue for their second dose,” a ministry spokesperson said Monday.
Once registered, people will either receive an email, text message or phone call informing them when it is time to book a second dose.
Starting May 1, people who received their first dose of AstraZeneca in a pharmacy will need to register for their second dose at https://www.getvaccinated.gov.bc.ca/s/. They will then get a notification when they are once eligible to book their second dose, people will be notified.
