Aro

ByGreg Robins 2026-02-222026-03-20
Aro glycolic acid deodorant in minimalist beige packaging, featuring two cylindrical containers (full size and travel size) on a clean light background, labeled as odor-targeting formula powered by glycolic acid

Born and made in Vancouver, Canada, ARO is a glycolic acid–based deodorant spray that tackles odor at the source — no aluminum, no fragrance, just science-backed skin care built for professional treatment spaces.

Most people have made peace with the idea that natural deodorant just doesn’t work that well. ARO was created to change that. Rather than blocking sweat or covering up odor with fragrance, this glycolic acid–based spray works by lowering the skin’s pH — making it harder for odor-causing bacteria to survive in the first place. No smell means no smell, not just a different smell.

ARO was developed with professional skincare environments in mind, making it a natural fit for medical spas, esthetics studios, and wellness-focused retail spaces. It’s the kind of product that makes sense on a shelf next to other results-driven skincare — and one that clients are likely to actually use at home.

The formula is free of:

  • Aluminum, zinc, and baking soda
  • Fragrance and synthetic masking agents
  • Comedogenic ingredients

It’s also:

  • Dermatologist-recommended and pregnancy-safe
  • Vegan and cruelty-free
  • Suitable for sensitive skin
  • Unisex — works for all body types and skin tones

Beyond just preventing odor, the ingredient list pulls real weight. Glycolic acid gently exfoliates and brightens the underarm area over time. Witch hazel helps calm and tighten. Panthenol (Vitamin B5) and Vitamin E support the skin barrier, while green tea extract and Vitamin C bring antioxidant and brightening benefits. It’s a spray deodorant that also happens to be a skin treatment.

ARO is designed for clients coming out of underarm Botox, waxing, or other treatments — anyone whose skin needs something gentle, effective, and free of the usual chemical load. It requires a short adjustment period of about a week as the skin’s pH rebalances, but most users find they need fewer applications over time, not more.

Female-founded, formulated, and operated out of Vancouver, BC, ARO fills a gap that’s been sitting in professional treatment rooms for a long time.
